Resilience of the Blue Economy
A holistic perspective, and the vision of creating a collective ecosystem of opportunities, has led us to design a premium sustainable material.
We collaborate and operate along coastal communities, in the most excluded and difficult to access areas, with the highest rate of unemployment and nonexistent opportunities of Honduras and Costa Rica.
The lives wonderful people…and fish skin, which was previously discarded, as a by-product of their only means of subsistence, inspired me to create “Resilience of the Blue Economy and Transformation of Fish Skin into Leather”.
An innovative and disruptive business model. A solution in closed season. An extra income in each household. Insertion in the world of work beyond subsistence. Community improvement based on own and local resources…acuiculture and textiles.
Our model, allows us to evolve the business of each cooperative that we are forming in coastal communities, promote sustainability, circularity and prosper their local economies.
We invite designers of garments, accessories, furniture, shoes, interiors, and architects...to create with our prime material. An excellent and sustainable option, with 90 newtons of tensile strength (9 times stronger than cattle hide), in order to support solutions to promote social progress, livelihood, and economic growth, so that together, we can address the urgent challenges of migration and climate change.
